Pastor Luke and Heather Long have been married since May 2, 1998. They have two daughters, both born in January; Eva 2005, Sadie 2007.
Hope Church is the first church Luke and Heather have pastored. Luke was a youth pastor in two different churches prior to Hope Church. They have been pastoring Hope Church since February 1998.
Pastor Luke has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, in Pastoral Ministry, from Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Florida (Assemblies of God). He graduated in the Spring of 2007, with a Master's Degree in Church Leadership through Southwestern University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (International Pentecostal Holiness Church).
Heather holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from E.C.U. in Occupational Therapy. She is currently employed in the WakeMed system.
Pastor Jonathan Thompson is the Praise Team Leader. He is shown with his wife, Brandy, who sings on the Praise Team. Their first child, Eden, was born in June, 2007.
